Independent treasury infrastructure guidance

Your treasury shouldn't depend on any one bank.

Bank Agnostic helps finance teams see, connect and pay across all of their banks. We offer neutral guidance and free tools, so you don't have to buy a six-figure system or rely on a bank's own advice.

01The problem

More banks should mean more options, not more lock-in.

Fault 01 · Formats

Every bank speaks its own dialect

BAI2 here, camt.053 there, a CSV export and a portal login somewhere else. ISO 20022 was meant to fix this, but each bank implements it its own way.

Fault 02 · Fees

Fees you can't easily check

Account analysis statements use service codes that banks apply inconsistently. Pricing drifts from what was agreed, and few teams have time to reconcile it.

Fault 03 · Incentives

Advice that isn't neutral

Banks recommend their own channels. Software vendors recommend their own platforms. Very few people are paid only to tell you what fits.

02The architecture

Fragmented by default. Bank-agnostic by design.

Switch between the two architectures, then replace a bank. In a bank-agnostic setup, banks become interchangeable and your systems stop caring which one is on the other end.

    06The founder

Built from firsthand experience through the transformation of modern banking.

Courtney Keesee has spent much of his career at the intersection of banking, technology, and the businesses that depend on both—often during the moments when the financial system itself was being fundamentally reshaped: the 2008 financial crisis and the integration of Wachovia into Wells Fargo, the rise of APIs and real-time payments, COVID-19, and the bank failures of 2023.

The greatest limitations in financial infrastructure are often not technological. They are institutional.

Businesses are too often forced to adapt to the limitations of their banks. He believes it should be the other way around.
